'Word Person' brand identity
Word Person is the pseudonym of copywriter Ellen Holcombe. Ellen wanted a more professional identity but still wanted to portray a sense of fun into her business - after all, Ellen's clients work with her because she is not only inventive with copy but also approachable and easy to work with. Her brand needed to reflect her ability to problem solve, write good copy and inject a bit of playfulness into her work.
I developed a simple but versatile identity that allowed Ellen to be playful with her brand. I made characters out of punctuation to inject a sense of fun and to also reflect her profession.
