I can create hand drawn lettering and hand crafted typography to suit your project brief, whether for logo design, food packaging, editorial illustration, book covers and more. I can create lettering to work alongside illustrations, within design layouts or as individual devices.
Below is a selection of my food illustration, which covers a variety of briefs across editorial and advertising.
Henderson's Relish Illustration
This food illustration is of Sheffield's finest Henderson's Relish and was used to advertise it in an editorial advertisement. (It tastes great on cheese on toast by the way).
Delicious Magazine food illustration
This food illustration was commissioned by Delicious Magazine to illustrate a feature article on 'The Secret History of the British Takeaway.' I was given the article and the size and asked to come up with an illustration that incorporated all the famous english takeaways within the article making them look attractive and fun, but not to disguise their cheaper origins.
Weight Watchers Editorial Illustration
An editorial illustration to show how many Weight watchers points each drink has in the form of a fun sudoku game. You can read about the full project here.
This is a personal illustration, inspired by Carluccio's lovely products. I love creating images with both food and hand drawn lettering.
Cocktail menu Illustration
These are a series of cocktail illustrations which were commissioned for a cocktail menu. After receiving the descriptions of the cocktails and reference I created rough drawings which, on approval, I worked into the final illustrations.
This is an example of using food illustration alongside hand drawn lettering, more of which can be found in my Hand Drawn Lettering section of my website and was part of a series of jar labels.
Top Santé editorial illustration
An editorial illustration for Top Santé magazine to show attractive ingredients that are the best for healthy digestion. You can read about the full project here
