Stories from the Street is a social enterprise that works with vulnerable people groups in order to give them more of a voice. Stories from the Street helps to provide safe places for people to tell their stories and contribute to discussions on social issues that impact their lives. I was approached to rebrand their current logo which was looking a little dated and no longer reflected what they were about. Their main icon was that of a house, which did not fit their main emphasis of giving people a voice. I wanted to create a logo that emphasised the 'story' in ther name, whilst creating a fresh and approachable brand. I used the subtlety of a punctuation mark in order to tie it in with storytelling and kept the colours bright and positive. I also angled the typography to subtley refer to house roofs.
