Freelance Illustrator, Graphic Designer & Lettering Artist
hand drawn lettering
Thanks to my design background I have become obsessed with letterforms and shapes, incorporating hand drawn lettering into a lot of my illustrations. Below are some examples of lettering I have created, using invented letterforms or based on typography. Although my lettering art is based on hand crafted work, I can create lettering digitally for packaging and branding use.
I created a series of hand drawn lettering headings for use on a restaurant's branding. I created the lettering by hand and then converted to vector to use across design collateral.

Thanks to my love of food, I also adore illustrating it. My food illustration covers a variety of briefs across editorial and advertising, including menu illustration, packaging illustration, advertisements and magazine articles. All of my lifestyle illustration work is based on observational drawings, turning the mundane into something attractive and inviting. You can see more of my food illustrations in the Hand Drawn Lettering and Design sections of my website.

I was given the article and the size and asked to come up with an illustration that incorporated all the famous english takeaways within the article making them look attractive and fun, but not to disguise their cheaper origins.
